Heart Filled Yoga (& Breathwork) Playlists
Before social distancing, about once a week I would teach my dearest doctor friend Emily a yoga class in my living room because I love her and wanted to share that gift. I also taught classes for the Eileen Fisher Recycle team downtown for some midweek relief. I absolutely adore coming up with my themes, sequences and playlists. The creation of these classes has become somewhat of a sacred weekly ritual to help me step into service by sharing my heart with others. Especially now, while currently most of the world is in quarantine, I’d like to share my playlists to inspire your own yoga or stretching routines at home. Sending love to you as you connect to your hearts through movement.
I also fell love with breathwork over the last few years taking virtual classes with the beautiful healing goddesses that they are Josephine Edmonson and Erin Telford. Breathwork truly heals and releases me. It helps me find my center when the world and my brain spins around me. There is nothing more nourishing in the world to me than this David Elliot 3-part style breathwork (belly-heart-mouth) while being held by good music, and these women get it so right in their classes. I have been so inspired by their influence that I chose to complete my teacher training this fall. As I work to get my teaching sea legs under me, I will continue to share my playlists with you here. Music is medicine.
