The Re-Entry
Coaching for New Mamas
A coaching experience for moms returning to work
Hey mama — returning to work after having a baby is one of the most disorienting transitions you'll ever navigate. I say that as someone who just did it myself.
It's not just about the logistics — the childcare, the schedule, the pumping situation. It's about identity. Who are you now? What do you actually want from your work and your life? How do you show up fully in both worlds without losing yourself in the process?
I've been right where you are. It's a lot.
I thought about my own re-entry for an entire year before it even happened. I experimented with a nanny share, toured daycares, interviewed what felt like hundreds of caregivers across every platform imaginable — and ultimately landed on a part-time mother's helper who fits our life better than I could have imagined (she is also a mom and knows just how to be with my baby!) I designed my support system around exactly how I wanted my days to feel, not what I thought I was supposed to do. I'm lucky — my work is flexible and I get to make my own rules. But I've also coached hundreds of moms navigating this with far less wiggle room, and the emotional terrain is the same no matter what your situation looks like.
Over the years I've had the privilege of coaching hundreds of moms (moms are the best) through pivots that actually feel good — not just practical, but deeply aligned with who they are. Their stories have included launching organizing businesses, floral studios, photography businesses, specialized consulting agencies, creative collectives, and coaching practices; going back to grad school to become a therapist; finding companies with more supportive cultures and better family benefits; and choosing to step back from traditional work entirely to focus on philanthropy and family. Whatever your version of the re-entry looks like — I've probably helped someone navigate something close to it.
The Re-Entry is a coaching experience I dreamed up on a recent walk with my baby — as one does. It's designed specifically for moms navigating this tender, complicated, and deeply meaningful transition. Together we'll unravel the guilt and overwhelm, reconnect with what lights you up, and build a life that holds both worlds — the personal you and the career you — with intention, self-compassion, and a whole lot of grace.
This is about moving forward as the fullest, most grounded version of you.
We'll work through:
Who you are now — your identity, values, and what's shifted
What you actually want from your work and your life
Prototyping your work options and testing them out together
Building a plan to land, create, or step into the right role — and thinking through the logistics
Designing a life that holds motherhood and ambition beautifully
How your Enneagram type shows up under the pressure of this transition
Boundaries, energy, and releasing the guilt
Breathwork and mindfulness tools for the moments when it all feels like too much
